SSTA AWARE is not only educating the future generation of professionals and parents but will gather research and data on beliefs and prevalence through knowledge assessments and surveys at each presentation. Research and data drive funding for education, prevention, and assistance to the families that suffer from this pervasive trauma.  ​ The Awareness Campaign is a global initiative that thinks big, but started small. Started by Colleen Mullowney where she resides in Southern California, SSTA AWARE's goal is to amass thousands of lived experience experts to tell their stories and bring this silent epidemic into the light. It is only through our stories can we reveal the prevalence and patterns of SSTA.
